Getting Started

The Llama Logger UX is designed to provide you with essential information at a glance while providing you with the ability to reorganize data to better suit your needs.

Basic Layout

A - Log Entry Summaries
B - Log Entry Details and Quick Actions
C - Comments
D - Exceptions and Stack Trace
E - Custom Data and Attachments

The navigation menu is located in the top left corner and collapses for small screen layouts.

My Details

Located in the top right corner, the My Details section is the place to manage your account and change your password.

Settings

Located in the top right corner, the Settings action allows you to change the layout size and theme.

Group Panel

Located in the top left of the Log Entry Summary grid, the Group Panel allows you to drag columns from the grid to group by those columns. You can group by one or more columns or remove the columns from the grouping altogether.

Quick Find (Lightweight Search)

Located in the top right corner of the Log Entry Summary grid, the quick find action allows you to very quickly search for text that exists in the grid. This is a lightweight search to narrow down data that is already loaded in the grid and is not as in-depth of a search as the primary search action listed below.

Log Entry Actions

Located above the Log Entry Summary grid and Group Panel, the toolbar provides access to useful actions.

Toggle Preview - This action allows you to hide and show the detail panel located to the right of the main grid. This is especially useful on table and mobile layouts where space is limited.
Dismiss Entry - This sets the status of all selected entries to Dismissed.
Restore Entries - This sets the status of all selected entries to Normal.
Create Rule - This creates a filtering rule to automatically dismiss entries as they are reported in the future. This can be done by exception type or for a specific exception based on the version and stack trace.
Filter Mode (Active Entries) - This action filters the list of entries based on their status.
Text Search (Deep) - This search is much more comprehensive than the lightweight search. It will search more elements of the log entries including the stack trace, comments, custom data, and attachment names.
Export - This action allows you to export the full list of entries to CSV or Excel formats.
